About Holly Edson, APRN FNP-BC

Holly Edson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Nursing from San Francisco State University and Bachelor's in Nursing from Indiana University. She gained Honor's society membership with Sigma Theta Tau for her work in Nicaragua on perinatal nutrition.
Holly grew up on a medicinal herb farm in the Midwest and has embraced allopathic and holistic care with tandem careers in acute care hospital nursing and manual bodywork including craniosacral and myofascial therapies. Holly’s approach to patient care is based on trust in the body’s innate ability to heal. Using tools from conventional medicine, manual therapy, herbal and functional supplements, as well as diet and lifestyle, she tailors care plans to match each patient’s healthcare goals.
Holly has a special interest in supporting babies and new families in perinatal bonding and infant feeding. She is a certified lactation counselor and TummyTime! trainer specializing in oral motor challenges and tongue tie.
She welcomes proactive adults who want to address common health concerns such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, migraines, TMJ dysfunction, thyroid disorders, depression and anxiety, and general primary care needs.
Holly’s 20-plus years of work experience includes concurrent careers, working as a nurse in interventional radiology, ICU, cardiac care, spine center, a union nurse representative in San Francisco, and also seeing clients in her private craniosacral and bodywork practice. Holly trained with Dr. Haas during her clinical rotations as well as UCSF, Stanford, and Sutter. She lives with her family in Mill Valley California.

Holly is a nurse practitioner providing holistic primary care and craniosacral bodywork at the Preventive Medical Center of Marin (PMCM). Founder and medical director, Elson Haas MD as well as Judy Lane NP at PMCM bring our Bay Area community decades of service in treating the whole person. The PMCM team looks forward to caring for your family.
